Position: Bar Barback
About: Peabody Hotels & Resorts, a renowned hospitality company, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Barback/Bartender to join their team. The job involves maintaining a high standard of service in bar outlets, banquet rooms, and various service areas, ensuring guest satisfaction and adherence to hotel standards and regulations.
Requirements: Minimum of 18 years of age to handle liquor; Food handling certificate; Fluency in English, both verbal and written; Provide legible communication; Compute basic arithmetic; Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy; Prioritize and organize; Be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment; Follow directions thoroughly; Understand guests’ service needs; Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team; Work with minimal supervision; Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data; Assist in the tracking of additional product being taken to bartenders; Satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers in a courteous, empathetic, and discreet manner; Maintain regular and punctual attendance; Adhere to Peabody grooming standards; Exemplify Peabody Service Excellence.
