Position: Banquets Server
About: The DoubleTree by Hilton located at the Entrance to Universal Orlando is seeking a Banquet Server to be responsible for the setup and service of all assigned banquet functions. Situated just steps away from Universal Orlando Resort, the hotel offers modern guest rooms and various amenities to provide exceptional guest experiences. Guests can enjoy a range of dining options on the property and easy access to popular Orlando attractions.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred; Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with State regulations); Ability to convey information and ideas clearly; Quick and accurate decision-making skills; Ability to work well in high-pressure situations; Effective communication and problem-solving skills; Proficiency in basic arithmetic functions; Compliance with hotel standards and regulations for safe operations; Friendly and professional demeanor towards guests and colleagues; Familiarity with banquet event orders and menu; Ability to handle guest concerns and complaints professionally; Knowledge of hotel policies, amenities, and department functions; Organizational skills to maintain banquet store room and perform preparatory tasks efficiently; Attend meetings as required by management
