Position: Banquets General Manager
About: Edgewater, a prestigious hotel, is seeking a detail-oriented Banquet General Manager to ensure the seamless execution of events and activities for Edgewater guests. This role involves supervising event setups, service, and maintenance to create exceptional guest experiences in a high-volume banquet environment.
Requirements: Minimum three (3) years’ experience working as a Banquet Manager/Supervisor, preferably in a high-volume banquet or hotel environment; excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently; experience in employee development and training; effective communication with guests, coworkers, and management; strong customer service and conflict resolution skills; flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays; ability to multitask efficiently; knowledge of food, sanitation, and bar terminology; proficiency in operating various equipment; capability to lift, push, pull a minimum of 50lbs; proficiency in moderately complex computer software.
