Position: Banquet Server|Part-time| Arvest Convention Center
About: The Banquet Server will assist the Banquet Manager and Banquet Captains in serving the guests during banquet functions to ensure a positive guest experience. This role pays an hourly wage of $11 to $14 per hour. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis, and there is no application deadline. Responsibilities include reading Banquet Event Orders, carrying at least 8 entrees per tray, providing fine dining level food and beverage service, maintaining food and beverage stations, and ensuring a tidy event area. The ideal candidate should have a high level of social contact, work a flexible schedule, be detail-oriented, able to multitask, and possess basic arithmetic skills. They must also be able to lift heavy objects and have good oral and written communication skills in English.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent GED strongly preferred; minimum of one (1) year of work experience in events, banquets, or restaurants preferred; must be at least eighteen years of age to serve alcoholic drinks. The ideal candidate must have a high level of social contact, work closely with staff, and deal with patrons regularly. They should be detail-oriented, able to multitask, have a customer-focused, positive, and professional attitude, and possess basic arithmetic skills. The candidate must be able to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and respond to inquiries from customers and regulatory agencies.
