Position: Banquet Server-Part-Time
About: The Lakefront Anchorage hotel is recruiting for a part-time Banquet Server position. Situated on the shores of scenic Lake Spenard, one mile from Anchorage International Airport, the Lakefront Anchorage Hotel is an ideal starting point to explore Alaska. With 248 rooms and three food and beverage outlets, we aim to deliver a memorable experience for our guests through exceptional service.
Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1-3 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience; strong organizational skills; ability to perform well in a high-pressured work environment; adequate mathematical skills; ability to walk and stand throughout the majority of each shift; ability to lift 20-40 pounds regularly; patience, tact, and diplomacy; ability to obtain TIPS certification; valid food handlers’ card; guest attentiveness and neat appearance; exceptional customer service skills; ability to work as a productive team member and contribute positive energy; perform duties in a safe manner; professionalism in all interactions with guests and associates
