About: Chateau Elan Winery & Resort is seeking an individual to assist the Banquet Manager in serving guests during banquet functions, ensuring a positive guest experience. Responsibilities include setting up banquet rooms, attending pre-event meetings, serving food and beverages, complying with alcohol serving regulations, and resetting rooms after functions. The ideal candidate will have hotel experience, excellent communication skills, and a basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards. Ability to adapt communication style to different audiences is essential.
Requirements: Hotel experience preferred; effective verbal and written communication skills; basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations and service standards; ability to transport up to 30 lbs. and stand for long periods of time; ability to apply written product labeling instructions and operate beverage equipment; willingness to assist co-workers and be a team player
