Position: Banquet Server
About: The banquet department at a luxury hotel is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Banquet Server to assist in delivering exceptional food and beverage experiences to guests, ensuring adherence to high standards of quality and service set by Marcus Hotels and Resorts and Marriott.
Requirements: High school diploma preferred; no experience required, prior hospitality/customer service experience preferred; ability to respond quickly and accurately to guest requests, handle multiple tasks efficiently; knowledge of appropriate table settings and proper set-up preferred; ability to obtain and maintain an active Responsible Beverage Service Training Certification, flexible to work varied schedules including days, evenings, weekends, holidays; attention to detail; excellent interpersonal, listening, and communication skills in English; able to lift, push, pull up to 30 lbs, stand and move continuously; hearing and visual ability for emergency situations; represent the company professionally and courteously
