Position: BANQUET SERVER
About: Provides outstanding guest service to guests and employees during catering functions. Works independently and under supervision to fulfill event orders, including setting-up, completing pre- and post-event side work, taking and serving food and beverage orders, and performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements: One year of banquet server experience preferred; Previous bartending experience preferred; Experience providing outstanding guest service; Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm in a high-paced environment; Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal; High school diploma or equivalent preferred; Required Work Cards: Alcohol Awareness; Physical Requirements: Ability to carry a banquet tray with ten dinners, Walk, stand or stoop up to 100% of the time, including movement on slippery and/or narrow surfaces, Frequently lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 50 lbs., Work for sustained periods of time maintaining concentrated attention to detail, Vision, hearing, speaking, and literacy (critical), Need to distinguish between shades of color, Ability to communicate via radios, Working inside in a noisy environment that may be include both hot and cold temperatures
