Position: Banquet Server
About: This position is for a Setup Crew member at a hotel, resort, fine dining restaurant, or full-service catering establishment. The individual will be responsible for performing setup, service, and breakdown duties under the direction of the Banquet Captain, providing attentive and first-class service to all guests, and maintaining a friendly and upbeat demeanor at events. Experience in carrying ten entrees on an oval tray is preferred but can be taught on the job.
Requirements: Hotel, resort, Set-Up Crew, fine dining restaurant, or full-service catering experience required; 2+ years of banquet service work experience; Internet accessibility and a working telephone number; high level of guest service skills; professional manner and appearance; reliable transportation; strong work ethic; ability to consistently use safe and sanitary food practices; physically able to lift 40 lbs; mandatory availability for (2) Saturdays a month; possession of a valid ANSI accredited certificate for safe food handling (Online cost is $12.00)
