Position: Banquet Server
About: Ellington Park Bistro is currently seeking a Banquet Server to set up banquet rooms and serve food and/or beverages in accordance with established guest service and sustainability standards. The growth path for this role includes opportunities such as Banquet Captain, Assistant Banquet Manager, and Banquet Manager. The focus of the position involves setting up banquet rooms, attending roll call meetings, serving food and beverages, replenishing beverages as necessary, removing dishes promptly, responding to guest requests and complaints, abiding by serving regulations, following sustainability guidelines, practicing safe work habits, and performing other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with food service experience being a plus, and the ability to remember and recite menu items. The work environment may involve varying schedules, including holidays and weekends, and physical requirements such as standing for extended periods, lifting up to 35 pounds, and bending.
