Position: Banquet Manager
About: Do you dream about creating extravagantly themed banquet parties? Do you enjoy running around to make sure that table skirts and linen are neatly pressed and tables are set perfectly? If you enjoy seeing the final product of great teamwork and hard work then this might be the position for you! This position is responsible for overseeing the banquet operations. The ideal candidate will be extremely creative with strong service skills and a demonstrated ability to energize a diverse team of professionals.
Requirements: Has at least three to five (3-5) years of prior experience as a Food and Beverage Supervisor or Catering and Banquet Manager; Must be at least 21 years of age or older; Has previous experience managing employees using a Collective Bargaining Agreement; Previous experience working in a similar resort setting; Has excellent customer service skills; Able to lead and mentor a team; Has interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts; Able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays; Has professional appearance and demeanor
