Position: Banquet Manager
About: The Blackwell Inn and Pfahl Conference Center is seeking a dedicated Banquet Manager to oversee and manage all banquet operations, convention services, bartending, and audio-visual services. The role involves ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining quality standards, hiring and training staff, and exceeding guest expectations while aligning with the hotel’s service and profitability standards. The ideal candidate must possess positive leadership qualities, organizational skills, and a commitment to excellence in guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, mornings, weekends, and holidays, is essential for this role at the hotel and conference center.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; advanced degree may be desirable. 5 years of relevant experience required; 8-12 years of relevant experience preferred. Hospitality Management degree or equivalent education and/or experience required; 3+ years of experience in a comparable position in a similar hotel and conference environment. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
