Position: Banquet Cook AM & PM $18 – $20/hr
About: The Edgewater, a prominent waterfront property in Madison, is hiring Line Cooks to join their team at the signature restaurant, The Statehouse. Known for its fresh and exciting menu offering a blend of upscale casual and fine dining experiences, The Statehouse provides breathtaking views of Lake Mendota and exceptional service to patrons.
Requirements: Minimum two years’ cooking experience preferably in a high-volume kitchen; ability to read and comprehend recipes and restaurant tickets; a flexible schedule and availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed; the ability to lift and/or move at least 50 pounds daily; able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, and dining room personnel; a cooperative attitude with the ability to work in a team environment; able to work in a standing position for long periods of time; basic knowledge of kitchen sanitation, safety, and serving guests with allergies
