Position: Banquet Cook
About: The Rio Las Vegas is currently seeking a Banquet Cook to join their team. The role involves preparing food for banquets with a keen focus on quality and guest satisfaction. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all dishes are served according to established procedures and maintaining high standards.
Requirements: At least 21 years of age; Proficient in preparing both hot and cold menu items; Capable of working on any station, including fry, sauté, broil, and preparing both hot and cold dishes; Ensures work areas and equipment are organized, clean, and sanitized; Adheres to safety and health department standards; Ability to address guest complaints; Operates independently without direct supervision; Attends scheduled staff meetings; Must present a neat and professional appearance; Effective communication in English; Must work well in a team environment; Ability to read and follow recipes; Certifications, licenses, registrations required as per regulations; Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 150 pounds.
