Position: Banquet Captain
About: Sodexo Live is seeking a Banquet Captain to play a supervisory role in directing Banquet Servers and ensuring a pleasant experience for guests attending catered events. This position involves working in a Convention Center or events venue environment, with occasional off-site locations. Responsibilities include overseeing service for various group sizes, ranging from casual to formal service styles, and actively participating in event preparation, set-up, service, break-down, and cleanup to uphold safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards of Sodexo Live.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; supervisory experience in banquet or catering services; strong communication and leadership skills; ability to coordinate and manage banquet events effectively; knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
