Position: Bakery Product Development Specialist
About: A company specializing in bakery products is seeking a Product Development & Innovation professional to work closely with the R&D Manager in Kenilworth, NJ, and Long Island locations to develop new bakery items, improve existing products, and optimize processes. The role involves testing, commercialization, process optimization, production support, training, and ensuring operational efficiency by collaborating with various internal teams.
Requirements: 5+ years of experience in commercial baking, R&D, food/baking science, or pastry arts; Hands-on experience in large-scale commercial bakeries; Associate degree in Pastry Arts/Baking or equivalent; Strong communication skills; Tech-savvy with familiarity in MS Office and ERP systems; Ability to troubleshoot production issues and implement process improvements; Strong organization and self-starter mentality
