Position: Bakery Manager I
About: This position is for a Bakery Manager I at a grocery store in Oregon/SW Washington. The Bakery Manager will lead the bakery department and staff, ensuring financial stewardship, customer service, department conditions, merchandising, food safety, work safety, communication, hiring, training, and performance management to provide an exceptional customer shopping experience in line with company values and a positive work environment.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; previous retail, food service, or grocery management experience required; barista experience preferred; previous ordering/inventory management experience required; basic to intermediate math and computation skills; intermediate to advanced computer proficiency; skills to manage financial results, plan, prioritize, and delegate work, train and coach staff, work independently and multitask, adapt to retail environment shifts, exercise good judgment, self-motivated with attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills
