Position: Bakery Cake Decorator – Full Time
About: Whole Foods Market is seeking a detail-oriented Bakery Decorator to join their team. The Bakery Decorator will be responsible for creating and decorating various bakery items while upholding quality standards and providing exceptional customer service. This role will also involve supporting company values and promoting initiatives.
Requirements: Highly skilled in cake and pastry decorating techniques; knowledge of color theory for buttercream blending; proficiency in using various types of icings and following recipes; strong communication and teamwork abilities; ability to work in a fast-paced environment with efficiency and urgency; at least 6-12 months of retail or restaurant experience; completion of Bakery Decorator Apprentice training program or equivalent experience; physical ability to lift 50 pounds and perform various motions in a bakery environment
