Position: Bakery Cake Decorator – Full Time
About: Whole Foods Market is seeking a skilled Bakery Decorator to join their team. The Bakery Decorator will be responsible for creating and decorating cakes, tarts, pastries, and special-order items with attention to detail and quality. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; efficient cake and pastry decorating skills; ability to follow recipes, directions, and procedures; strong communication skills; minimum of 6-12 months retail or restaurant experience; completion of the Bakery Decorator Apprentice training program or equivalent experience; ability to lift 50 pounds; standing/walking 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday; knowledge of various icing types and techniques; basic math skills for recipe conversions; willingness to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team
