Requirements: Minimum: – Ability to handle stressful situations – Knowledge of basic math – Effective communication skills Desired: – Second language proficiency in speaking, reading, and/or writing – Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering product-related questions – Maintain knowledge of department products and provide recommendations to customers – Offer product samples and prepare bakery items – Check and maintain product quality and freshness – Label, stock, and inventory merchandise – Report inventory discrepancies and ordering/shipping issues – Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations – Follow merchandising, customer service, and safety protocols – Perform equipment inspections and report maintenance needs – Report safety risks, issues, and illegal activities
