Position: Bakery Cake Decorator
About: Whole Foods Market is seeking a talented Bakery Decorator to join their team. The Bakery Decorator will be responsible for creating and decorating a variety of bakery items, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction. The role also involves supporting company values, initiatives, and maintaining food safety standards.
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent; 6-12 months minimum retail or restaurant experience; Completion of Bakery Decorator Apprentice training program or relevant experience; Strong cake and pastry decorating skills; Knowledge of various icings and color theory; Ability to follow recipes and procedures; Good communication and teamwork skills; Physically able to lift 50 pounds, stand/walk for 6-8 hours, perform various hand motions, and work in different conditions; Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidays; Experience with bakery or grocery retail preferred
