Position: Baker job
About: The Grand Sierra Resort is seeking energetic and customer service-minded individuals to join the Food and Beverage team as a Baker. The Baker will work under the guidance of the Executive Chef to prepare all baked goods and pastry items needed for the resort, assisting the Pastry Chef in training and Baker’s Helper roles. The position requires ensuring the quality of all baked goods and pastries, providing prompt and courteous service, and adhering to the Grand Sierra Resort standards.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; minimum of 1 year of Bakery experience needed; ability to deal tactfully with customers and co-workers; excellent communication skills; strong ability to follow recipes and Bakery management directions; good reasoning, time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills; must be at least 18 years old and flexible to work various shifts including holidays, nights, and weekends.
