Position: Baker job
About: Harps Food Stores is seeking a dedicated Baker to join their team at the 123 – Jones Road – Springdale, AR location. The Baker will be responsible for supporting bakery department operations, maintaining cleanliness, following safety guidelines, and delivering exceptional customer service in line with Harp’s mission statement of providing the best overall value to customers.
Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age; High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred; Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed; Adaptable to different situations and the ability to respond with flexibility to shifting priorities and rapid change; Ability to interpret, understand and follow instructions; Ability to lift, carry, and place merchandise and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance; Physical agility to reach, bend, squat, kneel, and twist; Continuous repetitive motion with hands and arms; Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout shift; Visual acuity to locate merchandise and verify information; Exposure to various weather conditions, cleaning solvents, and food allergens; Employment contingent upon completion of a PEP survey, drug screen, employment reference check, and criminal background check.
