Position: Baker job
About: Safeway is currently seeking a Kitchen Staff/Pastry Cook to join their team. As a Baker at Safeway, you will measure flour, sugar, shortening, and other ingredients to prepare batters, dough, fillings, and icings; dump ingredients into the mixing-machine bowl or steam kettle to mix or cook ingredients according to specifications; roll, cut, and shape dough and related products preparatory to baking; and read recipes and other instructions. Hiring immediately.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; experience as a Baker or Pastry Cook preferred; ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately; knowledge of baking techniques and equipment; attention to detail and cleanliness in food preparation
