Position: Baker job
About: Hy-Vee is currently seeking a Kitchen Staff/Pastry Cook for its 37th St NW location. As a Baker at Hy-Vee, you will be responsible for checking orders for the day, setting up a timeline and production schedule, preparing, making up, baking, and frying all department products, reviewing product status and appearance for freshness, and following instructions for invoicing and product storage provided by the department manager.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in a bakery or kitchen setting preferred; ability to follow production schedules and prioritize tasks effectively; attention to detail and commitment to product quality; basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
