About: LUX is seeking a passionate Baker to join our baking operations team, where creativity, precision, and innovation are valued. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting delicious pastries, cakes, and treats while upholding high standards of quality and flavor.
Requirements: At least one year of professional baking experience; proven proficiency in all tasks required of a Baker 1 position; advanced knowledge of baking techniques, including the creation of pastry cream, lemon curd, and the use of the straight dough method; ability to creatively adjust and develop recipes, particularly for dietary restrictions such as vegan and gluten-free options; strong problem-solving skills and the ability to fix baking errors effectively; familiarity with banquet event orders and the specific requirements they entail
