Position: Baker job
About: Bakery department at New Seasons Market in Oregon/SW Washington is seeking a Baker to produce bread and bakery products, provide exceptional customer service, and contribute to a positive team environment.
Requirements: Friendly and customer service oriented; Previous customer service, food service, retail, or grocery experience strongly preferred; Knowledge and/or experience of artisan baking techniques and industry standard equipment preferred; Basic math and computation skills required; Skills to work independently and manage own time effectively in a fast-paced environment; Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and needs of a retail environment; Ability to exercise good judgment at all times; Self-motivated with high attention to detail, quality, and presentation; Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in a team environment; Ability to manage difficult customer interactions preferred; Ability to read, understand, and follow through on instructions; Flexible schedule availability; Reliable attendance adherence
