Position: Baker job
About: With a career at HMSHost, you really benefit! The Baker is responsible for preparing baked foods and must follow standard recipes for baked goods. This is a non-exempt position reporting to Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, or General Manager depending on local requirements. Essential functions include following recipes, preparing food items, cleaning workstations, and operating kitchen equipment.
Requirements: Requires food preparation skills and knowledge of HACCP standards; a minimum of 1 year of closely related cooking experience; work experience in high-volume or fast-casual dining restaurant environment preferred; food knowledge pertaining to working in a kitchen and pantry; ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions; comfortable with water immersion and working with sharp utensils and in a hot environment.
