Position: Baker job
About: Fabrique Bakery is a Swedish artisan, sourdough bakery and cafe with establishments in Stockholm, London, and now New York City. We are dedicated to traditional Swedish baking techniques and are looking for passionate, hardworking FULL-TIME/PART-TIME NIGHT BAKERS to join our team at our flagship location in Chelsea, NYC. As a baker at Fabrique, you get to work in an environment that places high emphasis on both accuracy and pace of work. You’ll be part of a close-knit team that has fun at work while creating something beautiful.
Requirements: Prior experience in making and baking breads and pastries from scratch (experience with a stone floor deck oven is a bonus); Formal training in culinary arts (optional); Good communication and interpersonal skills; Strong problem-solving aptitude and ability to multitask; Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment; NY Food Handlers License preferred; Be willing to work weekdays, weekends, holidays; Be able to lift 50+ lbs. during an 8-hour shift; Be permitted to work in the United States
