About: Big Y is seeking a Bakery Specialist/Baker to uphold exceptional customer service standards by consistently preparing and maintaining the freshest quality baked goods. This role encompasses producing top-quality bakery items, managing inventory, ensuring food safety compliance, and sharing product knowledge with customers in the Bakery department.
Requirements: Ability to represent and support Big Y’s culture of caring while adhering to the company’s Mission & Vision; Proficiency in baking and ordering for the entire sales areas of the bakery department; Maintaining a clean and professional appearance; Operating within company policies, procedures, and standards; Willingness to cross train and learn other areas as necessary; Flexibility to work a varied schedule as per store requirements; Minimum age of 18 years
