Position: Baker II – GVR
About: The Company is looking for a dedicated individual to directly support the Lead Baker, Assistant Executive Pastry Chef, and Executive Pastry Chef. The role involves enforcing initiatives, overseeing production responsibilities, providing service to guests and team members professionally, efficiently, and courteously, and maintaining a clean and attractive environment in line with Company standards and procedures. The position requires the ability to work hands-on in various kitchen environments, handle high-volume production, and bake a variety of pastries according to Station Casinos Standards and Specifications.
Requirements: Six months of in-house training as a Baker’s Helper or at least one year of outside training in related fields; working knowledge and basic understanding of bakeshop operations; ability to work independently at 50% of bakeshop stations; skills to safely operate bakery equipment; proficiency in using baking tools and following recipes accurately; basic decorating skills; knowledge of mixing techniques, baking different products, and assessing Banquet Event Orders; ability to plate desserts; effective communication with guests, team members, and management.
