Position: Baker – Buffet
About: Island View Casino Resort is seeking a Baker to be responsible for the production of baked goods for the property including multiple outlets and banquets, focusing on quality product preparation while adhering to safe food handling practices and sanitation guidelines. The position reports to the Assistant Pastry Chef, Pastry Chef, Kitchen Manager, Executive Chef, and Executive Sous Chefs.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED equivalent and two to three years of previous experience working in a bakery (private industry, military, institutional, banquet, or casino); ability to pipe and decorate cakes; prioritize, organize, multi-task, perform under extreme pressure; possess people and time management skills.
