Position: Aviation Lounge General Manager
About: Sodexo Live’s Airport Lounge Segment has an exciting opportunity for a Food and Beverage General Manager at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta, GA. An oasis away from the airport hustle, the airport lounges are known for comfort and elegance at major airports worldwide. The Food and Beverage General Manager will oversee the food and beverage program, including food prep/cooks, bartenders, food attendants, and the janitorial team. As General Manager, responsibilities include managing club/lounge operations, culinary standards, product ordering, inventory, training, and financial reporting for the food and beverage program, emphasizing oversight for both the bar and back-of-house areas. This role requires strong communication skills, flexibility, and adaptability in a fast-paced and evolving environment. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience; 5 years of basic management experience; 5 years of basic functional experience; previous food, beverage, and culinary experience within hotels, restaurants, or similar upscale hospitality venues; oversight of daily food operations and delivery of high-quality products; achievement of company and client financial targets and goals; utilization of Food Management systems for menu development, ordering, and inventory; provision of the highest quality service; tasting products, reading menus, estimating food requirements, checking production, and maintaining accurate production planning and equipment requisition records; compliance with all company safety, risk management, and HACCP policies and procedures
