Position: Athletics Event Coordinator II
About: Grand Canyon University, located in Phoenix, Arizona, is a regionally accredited, private, nondenominational Christian University. GCU is seeking an Athletics Event Coordinator II to support, organize, and coordinate event logistics under the supervision of the Event Team Supervisor, including leading Event Coordinator I and student workers for campus events.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree preferred in a discipline related to communications, marketing, promotions, or a similar program from a regionally accredited institution; valid driver’s license in good standing; 1 year of experience in event planning, promotions, or a related capacity; demonstrated ability in self-motivation, effective communication, planning, organizing; flexibility to work varying schedules including evenings, holidays, and weekends; ability to pass pre-employment background investigations.
