Position: Athletics Event Coordinator II
About: Grand Canyon University is one of Arizona’s leading institutions of higher learning located in Phoenix, Arizona. It is a regionally accredited, private, nondenominational Christian University. GCU is currently seeking an Athletics Event Coordinator II responsible for supporting, organizing, and coordinating event logistics as assigned, including leading Event Coordinator I and student workers for campus events.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree preferred in a discipline related to communications, marketing, promotions or similar program from a regionally accredited institution; valid driver’s license in good standing; 1-year experience in event planning, promotions, or related capacity; demonstrated self-motivation, effective communication, planning, and organizing skills; ability to work varying schedules including evenings, holidays, and weekends; pass pre-employment background investigations
