Position: Athletic Facilities/Events Assistant
About: Charleston Southern University is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to assist with the management and operation of athletic facilities and events. This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth event execution, facility upkeep, and providing excellent service to teams, coaches, and spectators. The Athletic Facilities/Event Assistant will assist with the oversight of all athletic facilities and events, including planning and executing facility-related maintenance and enhancements. Evening and weekend work is required as needed. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Requirements: High school diploma; Prior experience in event management, athletics, or facility operations preferred; Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment; Excellent communication and customer service skills; Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions; Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
