Position: ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF EVENTS
About: Join the Events team at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans, a company renowned for its exceptional care for both guests and employees. As the Associate Director of Events, you will play a key role in managing event sales and planning standards at a 1,200-room hotel with 200,000 sq. ft. of meeting space. This position offers high visibility and the opportunity to work closely with Senior and Corporate leadership.
Requirements: High energy, entrepreneurial spirit, and 3+ years of progressive hotel Event Sales and Planning experience in a large-scale operation; service-oriented with professional presentation skills; at least 3 years in a senior role in Event Sales/Planning; minimum 2-year associate’s degree (prefer 4-year degree); proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills; demonstrated ability to interact effectively with diverse backgrounds; clear and concise written and verbal communication skills in English
