Position: Assistant Vice President of Facilities
About: The Assistant Vice President for Facilities at a renowned university, located in a vibrant academic community, is seeking a dedicated individual to join the Finance and Operations Division. The AVP will oversee the College’s physical plant, manage capital projects, enhance sustainability initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead a team of 65 employees in delivering exceptional custodial services.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, management/business discipline or related field; ten years of progressively responsible facility management, operations and maintenance experience; comprehensive knowledge of design, operation and maintenance of multi-use facilities and infrastructure systems; strong organizational and leadership skills; ability to respond to emergency events and work outside normal hours; experience in budgeting and human resources functions; excellent interpersonal and communication skills
