Position: Assistant Restaurant & Beverage Manager
About: The Assistant Restaurant & Beverage Manager leads the beverage and wine programs and ensures excellent customer service at a club setting. The role involves managing the wine list, coordinating with the kitchen team for wine pairings, supervising staff, and maintaining high standards in food and beverage operations.
Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred or a combination of education and experience; Previous supervisory and hospitality industry experience required; At least two years of experience in managing a restaurant with a proven track record of success; Previous experience managing a union team highly preferred; Proficient communication skills in English; Sommelier Certification from accredited organization preferred; Knowledge of New York City Health Code requirements and Local 6 practices
