Position: Assistant Nurse Manager
About: Horizon Health is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager for the unit at Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery, AL. This is a 54 bed adult inpatient psych unit. The Assistant Nurse Manager plans, implements, and evaluates the delivery of overall nursing care to patients, providing managerial support in conjunction with the Program Director and contributing to the Program, nursing, and hospital through commitment to nursing goals and community relations program.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required; active AL or multi-state RN license; CPR certification; 3 years work experience in behavioral health nursing; ability to manage anger, fear, and hostility of others appropriately; ability to make decisions under pressure
