Position: Assistant Manager/Shift Leader
About: The assistant manager at this restaurant assists the general manager in ensuring smooth operations with the potential for advancement to a general manager role as the franchise expands. The assistant manager is responsible for overseeing various shifts and maintaining operational standards in line with the general manager’s responsibilities, including but not limited to: placing vendor orders, managing inventory, executing opening, mid-day, and closing procedures, operating kitchen equipment, food preparation, handling guest complaints, upholding guest hospitality standards, and cash handling procedures.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; ability to remain stationary for long periods and move around frequently throughout the day; ability to lift and transport items up to fifty pounds; effective communication and writing skills; attention to detail; basic math skills for cash handling
