Position: Assistant Manager/Shift Leader
About: A restaurant is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the general manager in ensuring smooth operations and potentially progress to the role of general manager for multiple locations. The Assistant Manager’s key responsibilities align closely with those of the General Manager, including but not limited to: placing vendor food orders, managing inventory, overseeing shifts, ensuring completion of daily checklists, operating kitchen equipment, prepping food items, organizing food and smallware, handling guest complaints, upholding guest hospitality standards, managing cash procedures, making bank deposits, processing refunds, voids, comps, and checkouts, washing dishes, taking out the trash, and maintaining cleanliness in the restaurant.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; experience in restaurant management preferred; ability to remain physically active throughout shifts, lift up to fifty pounds, operate kitchen equipment, handle cash transactions, and maintain attention to detail; effective communication and multitasking skills
