Position: Assistant Head Cook
About: Sedano’s Supermarkets, located in Hialeah at 3140 West 76th Street, is currently seeking a Full-Time Assistant Head Cook to join their team. The Assistant Cook plays a crucial role in food preparation and ensuring customer satisfaction in a dynamic kitchen environment following the company’s operating principles and regulations.
Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; minimum 18 years of age; previous cooking experience; current food safety training certificate required and must be renewed every three (3) years; ability to read and speak English and Spanish preferred; excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work scheduled hours including holidays and weekends; basic math and numeral recognition skills; physical ability to stand for extended periods, walk, use hands, reach, carry, lift, and move supplies, have eye-hand coordination, and perform other kitchen-related tasks
