Position: Assistant GM / Rooms Div Mgr
About: Moody Gardens is seeking an Assistant General Manager/Rooms Division Manager to provide administrative support to the General Manager, ensuring customer satisfaction through consistent delivery of product quality and service in the hotel environment. The individual will also act as General Manager in the absence of the incumbent.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred; prior high-level management or equivalent experience in hotels of equal or greater size preferred; reliable and responsible; ability to exercise sound judgment and work well under pressure; well organized, accurate, timely, and discrete; excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to take initiative on problems and be flexible and cooperative; ability to remain on feet standing and walking around the hotel for long periods of time; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; ability to perform tasks that require bending, stooping, reaching, and kneeling
