Position: Assistant General Manager, Gordon Ramsay Steak
About: The Assistant Restaurant Manager assists the Restaurant Manager with the overall activities of the restaurant operation, including prep and service. The venue is currently open Wed-Sun, with the expectation of working evenings and having Mon/Tues off typically.
Requirements: Must be 21 years of age; effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner; a minimum of an Associate’s Degree, preferably in hotel and/or restaurant management, Graduate of post high school; two-year Culinary Arts School or equivalent technical training in the food service industry may be substituted on a year for year basis; preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel or Restaurant Management; five years of restaurant/food service experience, including 3 years of supervisory experience; a minimum of 3 years FINE DINING BACKGROUND in a management role; must present a neat and professional appearance; ability to compile, compute, and analyze pertinent data needed for reports; bilingual abilities are preferred; flexibility to work various shifts; knowledge of computer programs including Word, Excel, Windows, LMS; must obtain a Food Handlers certificate from the County Health Department; ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business; must successfully license with the Missouri Gaming Commission or pass a background check; possess basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills as applicable for recipe calculations and kitchen safety; works well with others, especially cooks, bartenders, servers, supervisors, etc.
