Position: Assistant General Manager – Full Time
About: Sonesta International Hotels is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to lead the operations team in the day-to-day workings of the hotel. The AGM will work closely with the General Manager (GM) to achieve performance objectives focused on revenue growth, cost control, guest and associate satisfaction, and product and service quality. This position requires collaboration with Sonesta’s marketing, revenue management, and sales teams, as well as various support services.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred; Three years of experience as a Front Office Manager, Operations Manager, Assistant General Manager, and/or Director of Sales in full-service hotels preferred; Fluent in English, other languages beneficial; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Proficient in Microsoft Office and Opera systems; Ability to travel, including some overnight travel; Valid driver’s license required; Physical ability to stand, bend, climb, kneel, lift items up to 50 pounds, handle equipment, and work varying shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
