Position: Assistant General Manager
About: Sonesta International Hotels Corporation is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to work closely with the General Manager (GM) in delivering results that contribute to the mission and overall success of the hotel. The AGM will be responsible for driving revenue, controlling costs, ensuring guest and associate satisfaction, and maintaining product and service quality. Collaboration with Sonesta’s marketing, revenue management, sales teams, and shared services is essential for success in this role.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred; Three years of experience as a General Manager, Operations Manager, and/or Director of Sales in extended stay hotels preferred; Fluent in English, other languages beneficial; Professional verbal and written communication skills; Strong mathematical skills; Problem-solving, organizational, and training abilities; Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Opera systems preferred; Valid driver’s license required; Ability to travel including some overnight travel; Physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working varied shifts including weekends and holidays
