Position: Assistant Executive Chef
About: Atlantis Casino Resort Spa is currently seeking an Assistant Executive Chef to join their team. The Assistant Chef will assist the Executive Chef in various duties, including maintaining cleanliness standards, managing budget goals, and ensuring efficient cost controls. The role involves calculating food and plate costs, providing leadership, and contributing to the overall success of the property.
Requirements: Must possess an Associate’s degree or higher in Food and Beverage Management, Culinary, or a related field; certification as an Executive Chef from the American Culinary Federation; a minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Assistant Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef; strong written and oral communication skills; ability to mentor and inspire team members; Serv-Safe certification or certifiable within 180 days; creative thinking skills; flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
