Position: Assistant Director of Housekeeping
About: The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel is looking for an Assistant Director of Housekeeping. The Assistant Director of Housekeeping is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of Housekeeping managers, room attendants, house attendants, public area attendants, and floor supervisors. He/She assists in managing the day-to-day operations of all housekeeping functions and enforces quality assurance and cost control measures. The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel, built in 1930, is a luxury hotel in New York City known for its charm, elegance, and exceptional service, catering to world leaders, celebrities, and discerning travelers.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in hospitality management; Minimum two years in ultra-luxury hotel operations, preferably in a union environment; Thorough knowledge of Hotel Operations, Hotel Services, Hotels policies and regulations, Forbes standards, technical knowledge of Opera, Knowcross, and Microsoft Office Application; Strong command of both spoken and written English with fluency in other languages preferred; Excellent interpersonal relationship with a positive attitude and ability to work cohesively as part of a team
