Position: Assistant Director of Events
About: Yale Conferences and Events is seeking an Assistant Director of Events to join their team. The Assistant Director of Events will report to the Director of Yale Conferences & Events and will be responsible for developing and directing the event staff unit, overseeing event strategies, staffing, client development, and new business opportunities within the organization. This position plays a vital role in driving engagement, managing relationships, and ensuring the successful execution of various programs and events.
Requirements: Minimum requirement of Bachelor’s Degree in related field and three years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and related experience; demonstrated ability in sales and program development; self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and exceed client expectations; energetic, creative, entrepreneurial leader with strong consensus-building skills; strong work ethic, ability to work in a team-oriented environment, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines; strong written, editing, and oral communication skills with superior interpersonal skills
