Position: Assistant Director for Fraternity and Sorority Life
About: The Office of the Dean of Students at the University of Iowa is seeking an Assistant Director for Fraternity and Sorority Life to provide leadership and support to the fraternity and sorority community through advising and coordinating various programs and resources. This position will oversee council leadership advising, community growth initiatives, and council advisement of programs, operations, and finances under the guidance of the Director for Fraternity and Sorority Life.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience; minimum 3 years of work experience in higher education advising and coordinating student life programs, preferably in Fraternity and Sorority Life; understanding of fraternal organizations and effective communication concepts; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends; experience in creating inclusive environments and working with diverse student populations; event planning and programming expertise
